Based on the suggestions of the delegation, Ambassador Tanee advised that Chaiyaphum province take advantage of her strengths namely, Thai silk weaving, fruits such as Tongdee pomelo and Sipakdee tamarind as well as popular tourist destinations such as the four national parks in the province and Krachiew Flower Field.

Ambassador also proposed that agencies in Chaiyaphum such as colleges and schools, and hospitals could initiate cooperation with counterpart organizations in Vietnam. The Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi will match the agencies and activities with the Vietnamese side such as football and basketball friendly matches, exchange college instructors, as well as doctors.

The Ambassador also welcomed OTOP exhibitors from Chaiyaphum province who will participate in the Thai Festival 2019, Local Best, Global Taste, from August 23-24, 2019 in Aeon Mall in Long Bian, Hanoi.

The delegation was also informed that the Embassy will organize a Thailand Job and Education Festival early next year where schools and colleges from Chaiyaphum are welcomed to participate.

Chaiyaphum is a province in the Northeast of Thailand and is also known for having the largest number of solar farms in ASEAN, many sugar processing factories, and top quality fruits including mango, longan, and melon. Medical doctors in Chaiyaphum are known for their expertise in spine surgeries, bone marrow transplant, as well as traditional herbs and medicine.
