1. Eligible Applicant for Non-Immigrant O Visa
2. Non-Immigrant O Visa Conditions
2.1 Non-Immigrant O Visa is valid for a single entry for accompanying family member who works or studies in Thailand
2.2 Non-Immigrant O Visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Non-Immigrant O Visa holder will be allowed to stay up to 90 days from the date of entry.
2.3 During the 90-day stay, if the travelers wish to leave and re-enter Thailand, they are required to apply for a re-entry permit from the Office of Immigration Bureau. Extension of stay is solely at the discretion of the Immigration officer. (http://www.immigration.go.th)
2.4 If the Non-Immigrant O Visa holder breaches the entry conditions, the stay permit will be revoked, and he/she will be prohibited from entering Thailand in the future.
3. Required Documents for Non-Immigrant O Visa application
3.1 Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
3.2 One completed Visa application form
3.3 One (01) Recent photograph (size 3.5 x 4.5 cm.) affixed to the visa application form
3.4 Documents for Applicant accompanying:
3.4.1 Spouse/parnets working in Thailand
(1) Company’s guarantee letter addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi stating that Applicant is spouse or family members of the person who works at the company in Thailand
(2) Copy of company’s business registration and Business license, signed by the Board of Directors or authorised managing director and affixed seal of company on all pages.
(3) Copy of passport, with personal data and Thai visa pages, of the person working in Thailand
(4) Copy of Thai Work Permit/WP.3/BOI
(5) Copy of Thai marriage certificate (for spouse)
(6) Copy of birth certificate (for child)
Note: Copies of company documents must be signed by the Board of Directors or authorised managing director and affixed seal of company on all pages.
3.4.2 Student studing in Thailand
(1) School’s guarantee latter addressed to the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi stating the applicant is spouse or family members of the person studying in Thailand
(2) Copy of student’s identity card or acceptance letter
(3) Copy of passport pages, with personal data and Thai visa pages, of the person studying in Thailand
(4) Copy of birth certificate
(5) School registration (if students is registered at a private school)
Note: Copies of school, university or institution’s documents must be signed by the authorised director and affixed seal of the school, university or institution on all pages.
3.5 Evidence of adequate finance
Note: Parents applying for Non-Immigrant O to acoompany their child/children who study/studies in Thailand shall provide an evidence of adequate finance of at least THB 500,000.- per child.
3.6 Additional requirements for certain countries
(1) National of certain countries (click) are required to apply for visa in person only at the Thai Embassy or Consulate-General at their home or country of residence.
(2) For Applicants of the said countries, who are residing in Vietnam and a holder of the Vietnamese Residence Card and/or Work Permit, are able to apply for visa at the Royal Thai Embassy in Hanoi, by providing a copy of the Vietnamese Temporary/Permanent Residence Card, Work Permit with legalisation stamp from the public notary or the Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam in Hanoi, as well as required documents as per link in point 3.6 (1).
